  Obviously debt collection companies would probably never receive 5 stars.. However, this is the worse debt collection company that I have ever had to deal with. I never received a final bill from an apartment that I lived in over 2 years ago. I happen to check my credit recently and saw that Hunter Warfield was on there with the apartment as the original debtor. I went to the actual apartment to get this resolved, as I would have paid the debt, had I known that it was owed. They advised me to contact Hunter Warfield and dispute it since the debt was so old. I advised that I had no problem paying the debt off, I just need it to be removed from my credit, as I can't pay a bill that I don't know exists. When I contacted Hunter Warfiled, they told me that they sent me a letter in December 2015 and that they would take my money and report it as a zero balance, but wouldn't remove it. I never received anything from ANYONE (not the apartment and not this terrible collection agency). I refuse to give them a dime as it is not fair to me that I didn't even have a chance to pay this debt. I asked them if they had sent me a certified letter and they stated that they had not, they only sent it regular mail. How can I verify that it was ever actually sent to me? I plan on finding an attorney and fighting this out in court. I don't even care that it is less than $400. They are not reporting factual information and this is not accurate debt at this point. I am 8 months pregnant and should not have to deal with this added stress! I will be suing for emotional distress as well, as this has been a terrible experience!

  Customer service was horrible. The rep i talked to was no help at all. Could barely understand what he was saying. Did not want to answer any questions or give me any details about my debt. Is that even legal?? How can they not give me any details its my debt i should be notified on what the debt is about and what can be done to resolve it. Ive already made a payment to them but at first they wanted me to pay it all off at once. About 1500 dollars. I said i dont have an extra 1500 laying around. So then i told the rep a amount i would be able to afford he told me they cant except that amount? What. This place has no desire to help anyone resolve any kind of debt.
